bringing the butternut Gallery and Second story books to 35Pine
With the help of many hands, The Butternut Gallery and Second Story Books opened with a well attended exhibit of work by Linna Dolph and Joe Weldon on April 20th. A great time was had by all.
On this day, the largest of the galleries was dedicated to well-known artist and musician, Joe Weldon, with the reading of an original poem by Aaron Sinkovitch. Joe is arguably the most prominent member of the arts community in the county and has been cherished and honored by just about every segment of civic life in the region over his many decades among us. Named “Citizen of the Year” by the Montrose Chamber of Commerce in 2010, Joe Weldon is kind, intelligent, gifted and generous.
